Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana says it has been established that 14 of Sri Lanka's total COVID19 cases are those who are addicted to drugs.

Citing Suduwella and Gunasinghepura cases as examples, he requested those living housing schemes and 'wattes' to report to Police if anyone outside of their scheme or 'watte' move into the area.

He also added that action will be taken against anyone who shelters, even for a few hours, anyone from outside without informing police and health authorities.
