Retired Major General Prasad Samarasinghe has been appointed the Chief Manager of the Lotus Tower project, Colombo.

Samarasinghe served as the chief coordinator of the project during the period between 2012 and 2015.

Samarasinghe retired as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army after an illustrious military career of 35 years.

He also served as the Army Spokesman and the Director Media of the Sri Lanka Army at the height of the Eelam war.
