Former military chiefs today presented a separate report to Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa on the Easter Sunday explosions.
The report was handed over to Rajapaksa by former Army Commander Jagath Jayasuriya, former Navy Commander Wasantha Karannagoda and former Chief of Defence Staff Roshan Gunathilake.
The report followed a meeting Rajapaksa held with retired military commanders earlier this week on the security lapses leading to the Easter Sunday explosions.
Rajapaksa previously said this report would be handed over to the government for further action.
Sources close to the Opposition Leader said no decision had so far been made on making the report public.
