Mohammed Ibrahim Ifthaan, the older brother of one of the two suicide bombers who carried out an attack on Shangri-la Hotel Colombo, has been arrested in Dematagoda with two swords, the Police said. 

The arrest has been made by the Police Special Task Force. 

An air rifle has also been recovered by the STF from his residence. 

It is not immediately clear whether the suspect is directly linked to the Easter Sunday Explosions or he is only affiliated with extremist terrorist organizations
