The All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU), an association of Islam clerics in Sri Lanka, has requested Muslims to conduct prayers at home tomorrow, due to concerns over national security. 

The organization tweeted, "ACJU requests to pray Dhuhr instead of Jumuah in the Masjids, if there is any fear for conducting Jumuah. Also requests to pray Dhuhr at home, if there is a need to protect family and properties."

Meanwhile, Muslim Religious Affairs Minister Abdul Haleem has issued a statement requesting Muslims to avoid gathering at mosques for prayers in solidarity with Catholics who lost their lives in the Easter Sunday explosions, and in protest of the terrorist act carried out by a group of extremists. 

The Police announced earlier today that strict security has been deployed at religious establishments across the country due to threats of possible attacks.

They also said religious leaders had been advised to adopt necessary measures to ensure the protection of their worshippers.
