Airport operations are now being conducted in the usual manner as the security forces have concluded their search operation around the BIA, Katunayake.
The Police closed the road in front of the BIA this morning, as security forces examined a suspicious vehicle.
Airport operations were suspended temporarily to facilitate investigations.
However, the Police said no explosives were found in the suspicious vehicle and the road was re-opened for public use.
