Sri Lanka squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 was announced today. 

The 15-member squad will be led by Dimuth Karunaratne. Other members of the team areA vishka Fernando, L Thirimanne, Kusal Perera , Kamindu Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya de Silva, J Vandersay, Thisara Perera, Isuru Udana, Lasith Malinga, Suranga Lakmal, Nuwan Pradeep , Jeewan Mendis and Milinda Siriwardena. 

Niroshan Dickwella, Dinesh Chandimal, Upul Tharanga and Dhanushka Gunathilaka have been axed from the World Cup squad. 

Sri Lanka's main spinner in several recent tournaments, Akila Dhananjaya, has also been excluded from the World Cup squad due to his poor form.
