The Premier Group Investigators, a private investigative arm in the US, released a picture this morning where former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa was seen receiving notice on two civil cases in the US.
"PGI's licensed process servers teamed up with Ideal Investigations, Inc., to surveil and serve papers on @GotabayaR for two Federal lawsuits filed in California," the company tweeted this morning.
This photograph came after Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa denied the former Defence Secretary receiving "notice" in the US.
multiple reports indicated that Rajapaksa was served notice today on two separate cases; the murder of former Sunday Leadet Editor Lasantha Wickrematunga and torturing Roy Samathanam, a Tamil Canadian who was under the custody of the TID during Rajapaksa's tenure as the Defence Secretary.
Rajapaksa was reportedly served notice at a parking lot of a grocery store while he was holidaying on California
