Sarah Hulton has been appointed British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka in succession to James Dauris. Hulton will take up her appointment during August 2019.
The UK government announced that Dauris will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Before taking up the position in Sri Lanka, Hulton served as the Deputy Director, Human Resources Directorate at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
She has also held diplomatic postings in the Philippines and Zimbabwe.
