The driving license of Sri Lanka Cricket captain Dimuth Karunaratne has been suspended by the Magistrate's Court.
Karunaratne was arrested last morning for drunk driving charges and was later released on bail.
Police said Karunaatne was involved in an accident with a trishaw on Kinsey Road on Sunday morning.
They added Karunaratne was under the influence of liquor at the time of the accident.
The national cricketer was produced before the Magistrate's Court today over the same incident.Karunaratne is tipped to lead the Sri Lanka cricket team during the upcoming ICC World Cup.
