The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that water supply to several areas in the Colombo suburbs would be interrupted for 24 hours starting from 9.00 AM tomorrow (30) till 9.00 AM Sunday (31).

Accordingly, the water supply to Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawaththa, Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Saba areas, Rathmalana and Soysapura Housing scheme would be restricted for 24 hours.

This comes amid growing public concerns over the government's moves to cut off electricity four hours a day in many parts of the country.
