Underworld kingpin Makandure Madhush and popular singer Amal Perera, who are currently in the custody of Dubai Police, are likely to be reported, Police sources said. 

They also added that Madhush and Amal Perera would be questioned by the Sri Lankan authorities upon their arrival in the country. 

Madhush, Amal Perera and nearly 40 people were arrested in Dubai last month when the Dubai police raided a party that was held at a six star hotel in the country. 

Kanjipani Imran, another underworld criminal who was arrested with Madhush, was also deported yesterday. He was arrested by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) last night after being questioned by the CID. 

Amal Perera's son Nadeemal Perera, who was also among those arrested in Dubai, was questioned by the CID for seven hours and later released.
