UPFA Parliamentarian Kader Masthan was involved in a road accident this morning, Police sources said. 

They added that the Parliamentarian's vehicle had hit a motorcycle in the Medawachchiya area, in Anuradhapura, leaving three people injured. 

It is learnt that the injured are members of the same family. Among them is a one and a half-year-old toddler. 

Police investigations are underway into the accident.
