Carbon dating results of the Mannar mass grave have been presented to the court of chief JMO Dr. Saminda Rajapakshe, a short while ago.
The radiocarbon dating tests were carried out by a lab in the U.S. on the bone samples recovered from the mass grave in Mannar.
Sri Lankan authorities received the report a few days ago. However, the findings of the report were made not public until it was presented to the court.
The report, Asian Mirror learns, will be made available to the media later today.
