Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said innocent party supporters had been imprisoned to take revenge from him. 

The Parliamentarian made this remark after being released on bail last morning. 

"Our supporters have been arrested for defying a court order. But no action has been taken on the Police ASP who slapped a journalist," he said. 

The Parliamentarian said the government attended to proceed with it plans to sell national assets by imprisoning opposition politicians. 

"We will not allow the government to sell our assets. Police action and baton charged cannot stop us," he added.
