The Commonwealth Games 2018 Queen’s baton relay was handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena on October 12.

The special representatives handed over the Queen’s baton relay to the President at the President’s House where he warmly welcomed it. 

2018 Commonwealth Games will be held from April 4 to 15 in Gold Coast, Australia.

Minister of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekara, Susanthika Jayasinghe, Sriyani Kulawansha, Damayanthi Darsha and Dilantha Malagamuwa were among those who were present on this occasion.
