The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has reported an increase in the number of complaints relating to drones being used to intrude on privacy.

These ‘Peeping Tom’ drones are used to gather footage of people who are often unaware they are being videoed from heights.

This ‘dark side’ of the phenomenon has led to increased disillusionment by the public on the utility value of drones.

The CAA will report the incidents to the Police for Police action in these cases.
