State Minister for Finance Eran Wickremeratne presented before Parliament today, the Appropriation Bill for the 2018 Budget.

The 2018 Budget is to be announced by the Finance Minister on November 9.

An Appropriation Bill, which outlines allocations for each ministry, authorizes the expenditure of government funds.

The Appropriation Bill for 2018 Budget records expected income at Rs.2174 billion and expected expenditure at Rs.3983 billion.
