President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (1) declared open a brand new Child Care Center, built near Thopawewa School in Polonnaruwa.

The Child Care Center, built by the North Central Provincial Council at a cost of Rs. 40 million was opened in line with the World Children’s Day which fell yesterday (1).

The President registered the first child of the new Child Care Center.

Chief Minister of North Central Province Peshala Jayarathne and the Provincial Minister Sampath Sri Nilantha also were present at this occasion.
