Several trade unions will join hands with the GMOA to launch a 24-hour token strike tomorrow, the Government Medical Officers’ Association said.

It said health trade unions and education trade unions had professed their support for the GMOA trade union action.

The strike is scheduled to begin at 8 am tomorrow and will cripple the health, education and medical sectors.

The GMOA is protesting against the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) and several other issues.
