An individual who was trapped under the debris of a five-storey building that collapsed this morning in Kataluwa, Ahangama was rescued a short while ago.

The individual was rushed to the Karapitiya Hospital.

Earlier today a five-storey building – believed to be a hotel – collapsed on residents injuring five.

The five injured individuals were rushed to the Karapitiya Hospital while search and rescue mission continued for the one missing person.
