Former Deputy Minister Arundika Fernando, who was sacked from his deputy ministerial position yesterday, said he would do his best to send the 'good governance government' home.
Addressing a press conference after his dismissal, Fernando said the people who elected him to Parliament were disappointed with the governments conduct.
"But, I will remain in the SLFP," Fernando said, when asked about his future course of action.
Fernando, however, said he would join hands with the forces working against the government.
Fernando was sacked by President Maithripala Sirisena last morning for violating "collective responsibility" as a government member.
Fernando was critical of the government's decisions in the recent past and went on to state that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa should be appointed the Prime Minister.
