Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) Leader MP Udaya Gammanpila said Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka ought to be labeled ‘Mad Fonseka’ and taken to the mental hospital in Angoda for his comments on former Army Commander Jagath Jayasuriya.  

Addressing reporters at a press conference yesterday, Gammanpila said that Fonseka has let the forces down with his comments about former Army General Jagath Jayasuriya with “no evidence to back it up.”

“All that’s left for us to do is to have him certified as ‘Mad Fonseka’ and lock him up at Angoda, the PHU leader said, calling on supporters in Keleniya to take Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka into custody and send him to the mental hospital in Angoda.
