President's Counsel Gamini Marapana is to appear on behalf of the Perpetual Treasuries before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCOI) into the Treasury Bonds issue.

Marapana will replace Nihal Fernando PC who officially announced his withdrawal from the case yesterday.

Gamini Marapana is the brother of Foreign Minister Tilak Marapana.

He also appeared for members of the former first family in some recent high profile cases.
