CID Visits Aloyius' Colombo Residence: Controversial Businessman 'Not At Home': His Two Passports Traced

Officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) visited the personal residence of Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjuna Aloysius, this morning.

Upon visiting the controversial businessman's Colombo residence, they were told that Aloysius was "not at home."

However, it was revealed that the 33 year-old businessman possessed two passports.

The Police took immediate measures to track the numbers of the passports.

It is learnt that Aloysius will be summoned before the CID to record a statement on his alleged involvement in the bond fiasco.

Speaking to Asian Mirror, a highly placed Police source said Aloysius' appearance before the CID would be just a 'matter of time'.

He said the CID had unearthed concrete evidence to establish his involvement in the bond controversy which caused a monstrous financial loss to the government.
