Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met with Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat today.
The two regional leaders discussed matters of mutual interest to the two countries.
Sushma Swaraj is in the country for the Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) that began yesterday.
At the event Swaraj said India’s vision for the Indian Ocean was to preserve organic unity, while advancing cooperation among neighbouring countries.
