Petroleum Resources Development Minister Arjuna Ranatunga has said that the resignation of the national selection committee is not a ‘complete solution’ to what ails national cricket.
Speaking to reporters Ranatunga said more changes were necessary to rectify the situation and put Sri Lanka back on the winning path.
Ranatunga has been vociferous in his attack on the current cricket administration, holding Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Thilanga Sumathipala responsible for the current crisis with national cricket.
His comments at the end of the last ODI against India saw the National Selection Committee give way to pressure and hand over their mass resignation, effective at the end of the series with India.
