Heavy traffic has been reported from Battaramulla owing to a protest by Samurdhi officials.

The road leading to the Parliament from Parliament junction has been closed, adding to the congestion.

Commuters have been asked to use alternate routes to avoid the area and prevent a further buildup of traffic.
