Chamara Kapugedera has been appointed captain of the Sri Lanka One Day International (ODI) team against India.
He was appointed to replace Upul Tharanga who faced a two-match ban for slow over rate from the ICC this morning.
Kapugedera will captain Sri Lanka in the 3rd and 4th ODIs against India scheduled for Sunday (27) and Thursday (31).
Kapugedera is a middle-order right-hand batsman who bowls right-arm-medium and occasionally wicket-keeps.
