The outgoing Chief of Defence Staff General Crisanthe De Silva paid a farewell call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at the Air Force Headquarters yesterday.

The Colour Wing of SLAF conferred a Guard of Honour and after inspection of the parade, the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Colombo Air Commodore Waruna Gunawardane and other officers of SLAF Headquarters.

Official plaques were exchanged between the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Air Force at the Commander’s Office. Thereafter, the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff General Crisanthe De Silva met with the Chief of Staff and the Board of Management of SLAF.
