Former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa and her second son Yoshitha Rajapaksa will appear before the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) of the Police tomorrow.
The former First Lady and Yoshitha Rajapaksa were due before the CID on the 27th and 28th of the last month but had failed to show up citing personal reasons.
The two are expected to be questioned about van belonging to the ‘Siriliya Saviya’ Foundation that belonged to the former First Lady.
The van is suspect to have been used in the abduction and killing of popular rugby player Wasim Thajudeen in 2012.
Thajudeen was found dead in what was purported to be a car accident but the incident is currently being investigated as a murder.
