The Government of Sri Lanka (GoSL) yesterday signed the United Nations Sustainable Development Framework Agreement that provides the overarching framework for the work of the United Nations in Sri Lanka in line with the national priorities.

The UNSDF was signed by Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs Secretary M. I. M. Rafeek and UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative Una McCauley.

Deputy Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs Dr. Harsha De Silva, and UN ASG, UNDP Regional Director and chair of the Regional UN Development Group along with representatives of the UN Country Team Haoliang Xu participated.
