The Colombo Fort Magistrate today further remanded former Navy Spokesperson D. K. P. Dassanayake until August 10.

The former Navy Spokesperson was arrested at the Welisara Naval Base on July 12 by the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) of the Police.

He is being held on the charge of aiding and abetting the abduction and disappearance of 11 Tamil youths in 2008-2009.
