Parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra today categorically denied website reports claiming she made a speech in Parliament on what she termed 'irrelevant topics'.

"I don't know whats wrong with these stupid cheap gossip sites?? And how they come up with these fake stories about me making a speech in the parliament about irrelevant topics," she queried, in a Facebook post, a short while ago.

"I am on maternity leave and would kindly like to stay away from all these drama. And I kindly request you all to leave me alone and stop dragging my name to your dirty games," the Parliamentarian added.

Premachandra did not take part in Parliamentary sessions in the recent past as she was on maternity leave.
