The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday informed the Colombo Additional Magistrate that it had identified the suspects who had followed Wasim Thajudeen minutes before he was killed in Kirulapona, Colombo 05. 

The CID investigators also informed that those suspects would soon be arrested. 

It was earlier revealed that a vehicle had followed Rugby player Thajudeen minutes before his mysterious murder,in May, 2012. 

The individuals who rode in the vehicle have been identified through CCTV footage. 

Media reporters earlier claimed that the Police had found an eyewitness to the incident who saw two Land Rover Defenders at the scene. 

Thajudeen's case is to be taken up again on August 02.
