Petroleum Trade Union Action Suspended Till Tuesday

Trade union action launched by trade unions attached to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation was this evening called off after talks with President Maithripala Sirisena.

The trade unions attached to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation had begun their strike against several demands that they said the government had not met.

The trade unions attached to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation previously launched a strike in April but it was called off after talks with the Prime Minister.
