Images of a vehicle belonging to the Akkaraipattu Police station used for a personal trip have surfaced on the Internet.

The images, taken by a citizen, show an entire family disembarking from the marked Police jeep belonging to the Akkaraipattu Police station.

Citizens have condemned the incident, asking that the Akkaraipattu Police be held responsible for the blatant misuse of state-owned property.
