Foreign Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake condoled with the families of those that lost lives ad were affected by the flames that engulfed an apartment complex in North Kensington, London yesterday.

The Foreign Affairs Minister offered the deep condolences of the people of Sri Lanka to the families and loved ones of those who had passed away from the tragedy and said he hoped that those injured would recover soon.

Meanwhile, while there were no reports of any Sri Lankans affected by the tragedy, Foreign Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake said the Sri Lankan High Commission in London is on alert for any reports of Sri Lankan’s needing assistance.
