Grenfell Tower in North Kensington, London is in flames and eyewitnesses report there are several casualties.

Police are fearful the 24-storey building will collapse and are evacuating the area as soon as possible.

Reports said the fire alarms did not go off in the building that houses about 120 apartments.

Eyewitnesses report hearing explosions and the sound of breaking glass.

Many are believed to be still trapped in the building even as firefighters battle the flames.
