The lane laws stipulated under the Motor Traffic Act will come into force from today (12), Colombo City Traffic Director Sumith Nissanka said yesterday.

He was addressing a media briefing in Colombo.

The Colombo City Traffic Director said lane laws would be strictly enforced within the Colombo city limits.

Special attention will be given to city entry roads: Galle Road, Baseline Road, High-Level Road and Castle Road, he further said.
