Two siblings were run over by a train when they attempted to take a selfie on the railway line, in Kollupitiya, last evening. 

The Police said they were aged 24 and 12. 

Initial investigations revealed that the two siblings had not seen the train as they were taking pictures. 

Further Police investigations are underway.
