The hypocrisy of the United Kingdom, in sheltering Adele Balasingham, the wife of former LTTE political strategist Anton Balasingham, has been called out even as the United Kingdom denounces terror in the aftermath of two attacks by the Islamic State in London.

Adele Balasingham, the Australian wife of the separatist Tamil Tigers chief negotiator Anton Balasingham was the former leader of the LTTE women’s wing who violated UN charter and conscripted children to LTTE.

The Island, on June 6, wrote: ‘It may be recalled that the late LTTE theoretician, who was instrumental in producing suicide bombers or ‘children of fire’ to destroy civilian targets in this country is currently living in London as Lord Naseby has pointed out. She has been pictured and filmed by the British media presenting female suicide Tiger cadres with cyanide capsules in the heyday of the LTTE. It is a supreme irony that the British government condemns the ISIS savages for killing innocent men, women and children in the UK while harbouring the killers of civilians in other countries.’
