Newly appointed Deputy Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs Harsha de Silva assumed office yesterday at the World Trade Centre yesterday.

Secretary M.I.M. Rafeek and State Minister Niroshan Perera participated at the occasion.

Deputy Minister Harsha de Silva was formerly the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs but had his portfolio switched when President Maithripala Sirisena made changed to the Cabinet of Ministers and Deputy and State Ministers under them in the past weeks.
