President Maithripala Sirisena has summoned members of the ruling coalition for a special meeting at the President’s Office at 12 noon today, the Presidents Media Division confirmed.

The reasons for the meeting are not yet know, but comes on the heels of a reshuffle of deputy ministers and state ministers yesterday.

Four deputy ministers and four state ministers took their oaths before the President yesterday.  

A Cabinet reshuffle preceded, on May 22, in which several changes were made to key ministries.
