President Maithripala Sirisena appointed three new Deputy Ministers and four new State Ministers at the Presidential Secretariat, a short while ago.

The three new deputy ministers are:

Dr. Harsha de Silva – Deputy Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs

Ranjan Ramanayake – Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage

Karunaratne Paranavithana –Deputy Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training 

While the four new state ministers are:

Eran Wickremaratne – State Minister of Finance

Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena – State Ministers of State Enterprise Development

Wasantha Senanayake – State Minister of Foreign Affairs

Palitha Range Bandara – State Minister for Irrigation
