The Police have questioned 23 people regarding the disappearance of a Bandaragama businessman in Trincomalee.

Mohammed Nasreen, a 35-year-old father of two, went missing on Sunday in Trincomalee.

He had gone to Trincomalee for an auctioning of gold jewelry by a state bank held on Sunday. During the auction, he had left the premises to buy some medicine and has not been seen thereafter.

Five police teams have been deployed for the investigation into the disappearance.
