The humanitarian agency CARE has reportedly come under car bomb attack in Kabul, followed by at least two terrorists breaking into its offices.
Citing a spokesperson for the Afghan Interior Ministry, BBC producer Khalil Noori said fighting is ongoing at the NGO building.
The terrorists entered the NGO building after the vehicle was detonated, Pajwok Afghan News tweeted, citing a source.
Journalist Jennifer Glasse reported that a bomb blast was heard, and that the explosion is believed to be near the Defense Ministry, which is located 3.1 kilometers (1.9 miles) from the NGO.
The attack comes on the heels of three blasts in Kabul on Monday that killed at least 30 people and injured 90 others.
