The 'Podi Manike' train derailed in Galkanda, between Hatton and Kotagala stations, earlier today.

This happened at 1.40 p.m. It had obstructed rail services along the main line.

After detaching the compartments which derailed, the rest of the train took its passengers to Hatton. It is now at the Hatton station.
