A businessman from Bandaragama has disappeared in Trincomalee, his relatives have complained to the police.

Mohammed Nasreen, a 35-year-old father of two, had gone to Trincomalee for an auctioning of gold jewelry by a state bank on Sunday.

During the auction, he had left the premises to buy some medicine and has not been seen thereafter.

He had been accompanied to Trincomalee by some of his employees who reported his disappearance to his family. The family has alerted the police following the incident.
