Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce appeared before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges this morning.

This is regarding a corruption which allegedly took place while importing rice by Sathosa during last government’s time.

Minister was summoned before the commission last Friday (26) regarding the same issue.
